6A. Slack App (KI) Privacy Addendum
What we collect (Slack). When KI is mentioned or used in a channel/thread where it’s a member, we may receive: workspace/team, channel, and user IDs; message and thread timestamps; event/interaction payload IDs; the text you send to KI (including slash-command text) and any files you attach (e.g., PDFs, images, docs); limited technical/usage logs (timestamps, status codes). Some payload fields may be received automatically by Slack; if not needed, we discard them and do not otherwise use them.
How we use it. To operate KI inside Slack (read recent thread context, generate a reply, post and update KI’s own messages, and add emoji reactions); to secure, maintain, and improve the service (diagnostics, abuse prevention, reliability); and to create anonymized/aggregated insights and benchmarks that do not identify a workspace or user. We do not sell personal information.
AI disclosure. KI uses large language models to generate responses. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete—please verify important information. We do not use identifiable Slack content to train third-party AI models. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to improve our services and models.
How long we keep it (Slack). We retain Customer Data as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business needs (e.g., security, compliance). After uninstall/termination, Customer Data is deleted within a reasonable period (generally ~30 days). We may retain anonymized/aggregated data that cannot identify you or your workspace.
Access, transfer, or deletion. You (or your workspace admin) can request access, transfer, or deletion of Customer Data at any time. We may need to verify identity and admin authorization for workspace-wide requests. Contact: support@frantelligence.ai (we aim to respond within 2 business days). A web form is also acceptable if you prefer.
Security (Slack). We use HTTPS/TLS, verify Slack requests using signing secrets (signature + timestamp), enforce access controls, and store credentials securely. No system is perfectly secure.
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities
with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then
send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.
