1. When and How User Information Is Collected

When Collection Occurs

Frantelligence.ai collects your information during your access or use of: (i) any website or web application provided, published, developed, or made available by Frantelligence.ai, including the Site; (ii) any mobile or online application provided, published, licensed, developed, or made available by Frantelligence.ai, including the App; and (iii) any feature, content, software, hardware, or service available through the Site or App. Your use of the Services may be conditioned on providing certain requested User Information; refusal to provide such information may prevent Frantelligence.ai from providing certain Services.

How Information Is Collected
Information You Provide. You provide certain User Information when you register for an account, contact us, or otherwise use the Services. We consider all such information voluntarily provided.
Automatic Collection. User Information may be recorded automatically by software or processes running on your device or on Frantelligence.ai’s servers as you use the Services.
Cookies. We may collect User Information by sending cookies to your device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or device memory. They support the integrity of registration, retain your preferences and account settings, and help compile aggregated usage statistics. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies. You can remove or reject cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect how the Services function.
Web Beacons. We may use web beacons—electronic images embedded in the Services or emails—to deliver cookies, track visits, understand usage and effectiveness, and determine whether emails have been opened.
Third-Party Sources. We may receive User Information from third-party verification services, credit bureaus, mailing list providers, and publicly available sources, as well as from third-party services that integrate with our Services. This Policy does not apply to third-party cookies, web beacons, or tracking technologies; those are governed by the third parties’ own privacy policies.

Payload fields we receive automatically from Slack that are not needed for service operation are discarded promptly.
Sensitive Personal Information (California). Certain categories of User Information we collect—including government-issued identification numbers, precise geolocation data, and financial account and payment card information—constitute “Sensitive Personal Information” under the CCPA. California residents have the right to limit how we use this information; see the “Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information” in Section 6 below.

We use collected User Information for the following purposes:
Provide and Operate Services. To verify your identity, save your preferences and profile, create and maintain your account, and deliver, operate, maintain, enhance, personalize, and facilitate your use of the Services. This includes operating the Frantelligence app inside Slack—reading recent thread context, generating a reply, posting and updating the app’s own messages, and adding emoji reactions.
Improve Services. To develop new products and services, perform optimization and statistical analysis, improve web design and functionality, and conduct diagnostics and reliability monitoring.

Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy and anti-money laundering laws.
Aggregated Analytics. To monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing across all users, and to generate aggregated statistics about purchasing behavior.
Dispute Resolution and Security. To resolve disputes, collect fees, protect Frantelligence.ai’s rights and property, enforce our Terms of Use and other policies, and investigate, detect, and prevent fraud, security breaches, and other potentially prohibited or illegal activity.
As Permitted by Law. For any additional purpose not prohibited by applicable privacy laws.

AI Disclosure
The Frantelligence app and other AI-powered features of the Services use large language models to generate responses. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; please verify important information independently. We do not use identifiable Slack content or other identifiable User Information to train third-party AI models. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to improve our own services and models.

4. How We Share Your Information

With Your Consent. We may share User Information with third parties when you authorize or consent to such sharing, including for marketing uses you expressly approve.
Service Providers. We share User Information with third-party vendors who assist in website hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing, point-of-sale services, order fulfillment, mailing services, and other functions necessary to operate the Services. We provide such parties only with information they need to perform their specific function.
Targeted Advertising. User Information may be shared or licensed to third parties to deliver targeted and non-targeted advertisements and content in connection with the Services and other platforms. When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies used by our online data partners may associate your activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including your email address, to deliver relevant advertising. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”), this activity may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. California residents have the right to opt out of such sale or sharing. You may exercise this right by contacting us at matt@frantelligence.ai.
Legal and Safety Purposes. We may disclose User Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to lawful requests and legal processes, protect the rights and property of Frantelligence.ai, and enforce our agreements, policies, and Terms of Use.
Sale or Transfer of User Information. Subject to applicable privacy laws, User Information may be sold, transferred, or assigned to third parties for their own uses. We do not sell the personally identifiable Slack Customer Data of Frantelligence app users. For purposes of this Policy, "Customer Data" means the electronic data and information—including messages, files, slash-command inputs, and associated workspace metadata—submitted to or generated by the Frantelligence app within a Slack workspace by or on behalf of the workspace administrator and its authorized users.
Business Transfers. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event, User Information may be part of the transferred assets.
Affiliated Entities. We may share User Information with our affiliated entities for purposes consistent with this Policy.
As Permitted by Law. We may share User Information in any manner not otherwise prohibited by applicable privacy laws.

5. Data Security

Frantelligence.ai takes commercially reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to: (i) protect User Information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction; (ii) ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of User Information; (iii) protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of User Information; and (iv) comply with applicable security requirements under privacy laws.

For the Frantelligence Slack App specifically, we use HTTPS/TLS encryption, verify Slack requests using signing secrets (signature and timestamp validation), enforce access controls, and store credentials securely.

Frantelligence.ai restricts access to User Information to employees, contractors, and agents who need such information to perform their obligations, and who are subject to contractual confidentiality obligations.

No method of data transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event User Information in Frantelligence.ai’s possession is compromised as a result of a security breach, Frantelligence.ai will provide prompt notice to affected users with full particulars and will immediately commence a thorough investigation.

Frantelligence.ai will not be liable for damages, claims, or causes of action arising from a security breach except to the extent required by applicable law.

This Policy does not apply to information you post to any public area of the Services (such as comment areas or community pages), ideas for new products, or other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information is deemed non-confidential.

If you use the Services from outside the United States, you are sending information (including personally identifiable information) to the United States, where our servers are located. That information may be transferred within or outside the United States. We may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Data Retention—Slack / Frantelligence App. We retain Customer Data as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business needs (e.g., security, compliance). Following uninstallation or termination of the Frantelligence Slack App, Customer Data is deleted within a reasonable period (generally approximately 30 days). We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you or your workspace indefinitely.
